Real-Time Operations Dashboard

How we rebuilt an operations dashboard so 5 teams could ship independently — while giving operators real-time data in under a second.

The Challenge

Where it started

A betting company's back-office was a bottleneck. Every team's update blocked every other team. Operators were seeing stale data because the old system couldn't handle real-time updates. Growing the business meant growing the frustration.

The Solution

What we built

We redesigned the system so each team owns their piece independently. Real-time data flows directly to each screen, eliminating delays. A smart data layer gives each view exactly what it needs — no more, no less.

Architecture

How the system fits together

  1. 01Independent modules for each team
  2. 02Real-time data streaming to dashboards
  3. 03Smart data layer per screen
  4. 04Independent deployment per module
  5. 05Shared design system for consistency

The Result

Where it landed

Teams now ship features on their own schedule without coordinating. Operators see live data with sub-second updates. Development velocity increased dramatically because teams aren't waiting on each other.
